Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Vice President, Third Party Application Engineering to join our People Hub team in Pittsburgh. The role focuses on Oracle HCM Cloud solutions across Core HR configuration, Journeys, and data migrations, delivering end-to-end integrations and ongoing optimizations.

The ideal candidate will hold Oracle HCM Cloud Certification, with hands-on experience in HDL/HSDL data loads, OTBI reporting, and managing complex HR processes within a global delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience configuring Oracle HCM Core HR modules and end-to-end setup.
• Extensibility frameworks and data management tooling exposure; Oracle certification preferred.
• Strong focus on Oracle HCM Cloud capabilities and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end configuration of Oracle HCM Core HR modules aligned to business needs.
• Configure and maintain workforce structures (legal entities, business units, departments, jobs, positions).
• Design and implement Journeys to improve employee experience.
• Configure Descriptive/Extensible/Flexible fields (DFF/EFF/KFF) as required.
• Perform HDL/HSDL data migration, loads, and ongoing maintenance.
• Develop and maintain OTBI reports for stakeholders.
• Support troubleshooting, issue resolution and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT to ensure seamless delivery and quarterly releases.

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Third Party Application Engineering to join our People Hub team. This role is located in Pittsburgh.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• We are seeking a skilled Oracle HCM Core HR Consultant with strong expertise in end-to-end configuration and Oracle HCM Cloud capabilities.




• The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in Core HR configuration, extensibility frameworks, and data management tools, along with Oracle certification.




• This role will support implementation, enhancements, and ongoing optimization of Oracle HCM solutions.



• Lead end-to-end configuration of Oracle HCM Core HR modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements


• Configure and maintain workforce structures (legal entities, business units, departments, jobs, positions)


• Design and implement Journeys (Oracle Journeys/Guided Journeys) to enhance employee experience


• Configure and manage DFF (Descriptive Flexfields), EFF (Extensible Flexfields), and KFF (Key Flexfields)


• Perform data migration, data loads, and maintenance using HDL and HSDL


• Develop and maintain reports using OTBI for business and HR stakeholders


• Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system enhancements


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Payroll, and IT to ensure seamless delivery.


• Participate in quarterly releases, testing, and impact analysis


• Oracle HCM Cloud Certification (mandatory)


• Strong experience in:


• Oracle Core HR configuration


• Journeys and employee lifecycle processes


• Flexfields (DFF, EFF, KFF)


• HDL / HSDL data load processes


• OTBI reporting

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• Basic knowledge or exposure to: HCM Extracts, Fast Formula, Advanced OTBI / BI reporting



• Understanding of integrations and data flows within Oracle HCM


• Exposure to Oracle AI Agents / Redwood / AI-driven features is a strong advantage


• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global delivery environment


• Experience supporting global HR implementations


• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery models


• Experience with other Oracle HCM modules (Absence, Talent, Payroll)
