Job summary

AMS Impact Group, the Academy of Mathematics and Science network, seeks a Vice President of Schools to lead district transformation across Blytheville, Little Rock, and Fort Smith. The role focuses on academic excellence, enrollment growth, and operational effectiveness in Arkansas-based schools.

The VP will supervise school leaders, drive multi-site improvements, and lead a new Fort Smith campus launch in Fall 2027. Strong leadership and state oversight experience are required.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in K–12 education.
• Experience improving academic outcomes and school/district performance.
• Experience supervising and developing school leaders and managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as district leader and oversee transformation with accountability for academic achievement and compliance.
• Supervise AMS Little Rock school leader and monitor performance with measurable goals.
• Lead the launch and pre-opening planning for the Fort Smith school opening Fall 2027.
• Oversee enrollment growth, family engagement, and student outcomes across the Arkansas portfolio.
