Job summary

AMS Impact Group seeks a Vice President of Schools to lead Arkansas portfolio, including Blytheville, Little Rock, and Fort Smith. This field-based role is on-site and focuses on academic excellence, enrollment growth, and school culture.

You will supervise district and school leaders, drive transformation plans, launch new campuses, ensure compliance, and align resources with student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in K–12 education.
• Experience improving academic outcomes and guiding district-wide improvement.
• Experience supervising school leaders, coaching and accountability.
• Experience managing budgets, staffing, and operational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the listed Superintendent of the Blytheville School District on behalf of AMS Impact Group, ensuring district leadership, performance, compliance, and transformation.
• Lead district progress toward Level 5 state intervention goals with timely improvement plans, documentation, and reporting.
• Develop and monitor a multi-year district transformation plan with measurable goals and accountability.
• Report to ADE Commissioner and maintain relationships with ADE and other stakeholders.
• Supervise and develop district and school leaders to strengthen leadership capacity and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with academic, special education, and federal program requirements.
• Oversee budgeting, facilities, transportation, nutrition services, and other district functions.
• Build trust and engage families, employees, and community partners.
