Vice President of Sales – Cybersecurity (Boston, Hybrid)

Industry: Cybersecurity (B2B, Mid-Market to Enterprise)

OTE: $325,000 – $450,000+ (uncapped)

Equity: Yes

Experience Required: 10+ years in tech or cybersecurity sales, 5+ years in a leadership role

Reporting To: CEO

Remote Flexibility: Hybrid, must be Boston-based or nearby

The Opportunity

We’re representing an innovative cybersecurity company. With strong backing, a modern product stack, and a leadership team that understands what it takes to scale, they’re now ready to bring on a VP of Sales to lead their next chapter of growth.

This isn’t about managing what's already there; it’s about building, scaling, and leading from the front. You’ll be stepping into a pivotal role with the autonomy to shape the sales strategy, grow the team, and directly influence the company’s trajectory.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning the full sales strategy and execution, from top-line planning to deal-level involvement
  • Hiring, coaching, and scaling a high-performing team of Account Executives and SDRs
  • Driving new business growth in the mid-market and enterprise segments
  • Collaborating closely with product, marketing, and delivery teams to align go-to-market strategy
  • Managing pipeline, forecasting, and performance metrics with clarity and accountability
  • Representing the company at a senior level in key client and partner conversations

What they're Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience in cybersecurity or complex B2B tech sales
  • Strong track record of building and scaling sales teams that consistently exceed targets
  • Deep understanding of the full sales cycle in mid-market and enterprise environments
  • You’ve personally carried and closed deals, and know how to coach others to do the same
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach when needed
  • Based in Boston or nearby, with ability to be in-office part of the week
