Pinnacle MEP is seeking a results-driven Vice President of Operations in Lansing, MI to lead plumbing and HVAC operations across multiple sites. The role oversees project delivery, budgets, safety, and client relations for a growing mechanical contracting group.

Qualifications

15-20 years of project management experience within plumbing and HVAC.
Proven success managing large, complex projects in commercial and multifamily construction.
Experience leading teams in a multi-location or multi-division environment.
Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC systems, and field operations.
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, manpower planning, and operational performance.
Effective leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and accountability.
Oversee execution of all projects, including commercial, multifamily, and residential scopes.
Direct and support a workforce of approximately 250 field technicians, including project managers and field supervisors.
Drive operational performance related to schedule, budget, productivity, and quality.
Establish and enforce standard operating procedures and best practices across all branches.
Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, workforce development, and growth initiatives.
Monitor financial performance, including job costing, forecasting, and margin improvement.
Champion a strong culture of safety, compliance, and accountability.
Build and maintain key relationships with clients, general contractors, and vendors.
