Position at United Veterinary Care

The Vice President of Marketing Strategy & Customer Journey will lead all customer demand generation, engagement, & go-to-market initiatives, programs, and support field adoption & implementation. Reporting directly to the COO, this role will collaborate with Field Leadership, Finance, Commercial, and go-to-market vendor partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead marketing initiatives and channel marketing
  • Oversee customer journey enhancements and optimization
  • Manage marketing agency workstreams and roadmap
  • Develop and lead digital transformation strategies
  • Drive strategic initiatives for commercialization (pricing, packages, memberships, etc.)
  • Partner with field operations and clinical teams on cross-functional initiatives
  • Enhance capability teams supporting commercialization
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align strategies and execute plans
  • Analyze market intelligence and industry trends to identify growth opportunities
  • Monitor and support execution of strategic initiatives
  • Establish processes for customer support and revenue growth analysis
  • Present updates and strategic plans to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with COO and Finance on budgets and business plans
  • Create marketing communication content
  • Recruit, develop, and manage talent
  • Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports
  • Manage customer relationships and data analysis
  • Pilot innovative customer service approaches
  • Develop customer experience insights and dashboards

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree; MBA preferred, focus on Strategy, Marketing, or Finance
  • 10+ years of commercial experience, including sales leadership or marketing
  • 5-10 years leading teams
  • Experience in veterinary or health industries preferred
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Experience with digital sales tools and process orientation
  • Strategic thinking and management skills

Location: Remote, with 20% travel for key engagements
