Base pay range

$180,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr

The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for leading the marketing strategy and execution for egnite, Inc. This role will drive brand messaging/positioning, customer acquisition, and growth strategies for egnite. Our ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cardiovascular digital health and healthcare data landscape and a proven track record of leading successful ROI-based growth marketing programs and marketing teams in an early-stage venture environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to define the company's marketing objectives and align them with overall business goals.

Brand Management:

  • Oversee the development and execution of brand positioning and messaging that resonate with target audiences (US-based hospitals and US-based data buyers).
  • Ensure consistency of brand voice and identity across all marketing channels and materials.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Direct the work of external market research and creative firms to design and deploy marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.

Digital Marketing:

  • Lead the development and execution of digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, content marketing, and online advertising.
  • Optimize digital channels to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.

Product Marketing:

  • Work closely with product development teams to create go-to-market strategies for new products and features.
  • Develop compelling product messaging and positioning to differentiate from competitors.

Customer Acquisition and Retention:

  • Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies to grow the CardioCare and egnite RWE customer base.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that drives results.

Partnerships and Alliances:

  • Collaborate with external partners to co-create marketing initiatives.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness and ROI of marketing initiatives and campaigns.

Public Relations and Communications:

  • Oversee public relations efforts to enhance the company's reputation and visibility.
  • Manage communication strategies, including press releases, media relations, and crisis management.

This role requires privileged access controls for critical systems or data, ensuring that only authorized employees have access to sensitive information to help prevent data breaches and unauthorized access to sensitive information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a marketing or strategy leadership role within the digital health, structural heart, and/or cardiovascular healthcare data industry. Experience in the cardiovascular space, especially structural heart and messaging digital health programs to hospital clinical and administrative buyers, preferred.
  • Proven track record of building and managing high performing marketing teams.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive growth. This includes directing the work of external market research and creative firms to design and deploy marketing initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels and tools, including analytics and performance metrics.
  • Experience in highly clinical marketing environments a plus.
  • Exposure to hospital-based change management programs and/or quality consulting services a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Passion for healthcare innovation and improving patient outcomes through digital solutions.
