Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Vice President of Client Services to own strategy, pacing, and execution of go-to-market efforts for a defined region. This senior, client-facing leader will drive complex deals with urgency and clear directional leadership.

You will build relationships with fund managers, developers, and asset owners, partnering with operations to align pitch and long-term execution while mentoring junior contributors and elevating the team's market reputation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in institutional real estate, client advisory, or operational leadership.
• Proven ability to win and lead complex, high-value pursuits.
• Strategic thinker who can cut through noise and make the case for why we win.
• Executive presence and fluent in both investment and operations language.
• Highly autonomous, but collaborative.
• Proficient with Microsoft suite applications and other relevant software.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Deep financial literacy; understands cash flows through the three financial statements.
• Strong understanding of property pricing, positioning, and underwriting.
• Take initiative and work independently.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Effective leadership and development skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead pursuit strategy across a region, portfolio, or set of target accounts.
• Own complex, high-stakes pursuits from start to finish, including lease-ups, turnarounds, and multi-asset portfolios.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders, including fund managers, developers, and asset owners.
• Partner closely with operations leaders to ensure alignment between pitch, transition, and long-term execution.
• Deliver insight-driven narratives and materials that reflect market knowledge and commercial sophistication.
• Represent the company in high-stakes meetings, panels, and industry events.
• Serve as a cultural leader within Client Services, setting standards and informally mentoring junior contributors.
• Shapes and wins meaningful, high-value business with urgency and clarity.
• Is the go-to person for top-tier pursuits — trusted by leadership, ops, and clients alike.
• Operates independently and decisively — sets their own pace and delivers results.
• Strengthens our reputation in the market as the most knowledgeable and responsive team in the business.

Compensation:

Full-Time $ 150,000.00 to $ 180,000.00 annually
