Job summary

Blessing Health is seeking the Vice President of Medical Group Operations to provide executive leadership for Blessing Corporate Services' physician practices. Reporting to the CMO, you will ensure effective, efficient operations across ambulatory clinics, recruitment, retention, and compensation programs.

You will collaborate with medical staff leaders and other executives to align operations with strategic goals, drive performance, and uphold ICARE standards and Blessing's Code of Conduct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or MBA/master’s in healthcare administration.
• 3–5 years healthcare experience as Practice Administrator preferred.

Job Summary

This position requires a full understanding of and active participation in fulfilling the Mission, Vision, and Values of Blessing Corporate Services. The Vice President is expected to consistently demonstrate ICARE standards, adhere to the Blessing Code of Conduct, and comply with all applicable organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

The Vice President, Medical Group Operations provides executive leadership and operational oversight for physician practices owned and operated by Blessing Corporate Services, Inc. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), this position is responsible for the effective, efficient, and sustainable operation of the medical group and its ambulatory practices.

The Vice President provides strategic and operational leadership across clinic operations, provider recruitment and retention, and physician compensation. The position works closely with the Chief Medical Officer, medical staff leaders, service line leaders, and other executive and operational leaders to align medical group operations with the organization’s strategic priorities, clinical goals, financial objectives, and commitment to high-quality patient care.

The Vice President provides direct leadership and accountability for administrative directors responsible for outpatient clinic operations, the Director of Provider Recruitment and Retention, and the Physician Compensation Coordinator. The position is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating operational strategies, programs, and processes that support provider engagement, access, growth, productivity, retention, and financial performance.

The Vice President serves as the CMO’s principal operational partner for the medical group. The CMO retains responsibility for physician leadership, clinical matters, and the medical staff relationship, while the Vice President provides executive operational leadership and accountability for the performance of the medical group’s practices and administrative functions.

The Vice President and CMO will work collaboratively to address provider performance, behavior, productivity, compliance, recruitment, retention, compensation, contractual matters, and other issues affecting the medical group. The Vice President will assume designated responsibilities on behalf of the CMO when appropriate and will ensure timely escalation of issues requiring physician or executive leadership involvement.
