Vice President, Marketing
Hybrid: 3 days on-site, Tuesday-Thursday
AAA Club Alliance (ACA) is seeking a transformative Vice President of Marketing to lead our enterprise-wide marketing function and drive data-driven, omnichannel strategies aligned with our long-term business goals. This executive leader will unify fragmented marketing efforts, elevate personalization through a robust MarTech ecosystem (Adobe, Salesforce, GenAI), and position marketing as a center of excellence delivering measurable impact across both regulated and non-regulated revenue streams.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and execute the enterprise marketing strategy across multiple business lines with accountability for outcomes tied to our 3-year strategic plan.
- Oversee brand management, creative direction, internal teams (content, social, email), and agency partnerships assuring unified brand experience across all channels.
- Drive marketing transformation through advanced campaign planning, marketing automation, segmentation, and performance measurement.
- Serve as the primary steward of the ACA and AAA brands, ensuring consistent brand identity and adherence to national brand standards.
- Partner cross-functionally to translate business priorities into marketing execution, with strong collaboration across silos in a matrixed environment.
- Lead outsourced market research initiatives to inform brand health, customer segmentation, and growth opportunities.
- Optimize use of ACA’s marketing technology stack including Adobe Campaign, Workfront, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and emerging GenAI capabilities.
- Manage multiple budgets—both department-controlled and those shared with business line stakeholders—to ensure ROI-driven marketing investments.
About You
Strategic & Technical Strengths
- Deep experience in multi-product, multi-demographic marketing environments
- Proficiency across digital, paid media, social, and direct marketing channels
- Expertise with Adobe (Campaign, Target, Analytics, Workfront) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Skilled in segmentation strategy, data science collaboration, personalization, and marketing mix modeling
- Understanding of membership-based models, customer retention strategies, and lifetime value frameworks
Leadership & Communication
- Inspiring and confident leader with executive presence and a bias for action
- Track record of building high-performing, agile teams
- Politically astute and collaborative across functions with strong stakeholder influence
- Comfortable presenting to senior executives and board-level audiences
- Motivated by competitive success but grounded in integrity and cross-functional trust
Preferred Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership; MBA strongly preferred
- Experience in Personal Lines Insurance or similarly regulated industries
- Prior experience unifying brand and campaign efforts in a matrixed organization
- Demonstrated ability to manage both in-house and agency marketing teams
- Experience integrating AI and data science into marketing workflows
- Familiarity with non-dues revenue models and multi-channel member engagement strategies

- MarTech Optimization – Integrate and modernize campaign execution through Adobe, Salesforce, and GenAI
- Brand Cohesion – Unify messaging across business lines and increase penetration of ACA services within the member base
- Performance Strategy – Build marketing attribution frameworks and support demand generation
- Team Development – Scale and elevate internal teams, establishing clear KPIs and fostering excellence in execution
