Job description

A fast-growing, Series A cybersecurity startup backed by top-tier investors is looking for a Vice President of Marketing to lead the charge on brand, positioning, and product marketing. This is a pivotal, high-impact role reporting directly to the CEO, with strong cross-functional partnerships across Sales, Technology, and Customer Success.

The company combines Bug Bounty and Pentesting as a Service into one unified platform, bringing clarity and predictability to external attack surface management. With significant momentum and a strong foundation, they’re ready to scale—and need a marketing leader who can build while doing.

What You’ll Do

  • Own product marketing end-to-end: messaging, positioning, launches, pricing/packaging, and sales enablement
  • Refine and evolve the brand: lead positioning work and oversee a major website revamp
  • Support and grow demand gen: partner with/oversee a Director of Marketing to drive pipeline and optimize campaigns
  • Be a strategic voice on the leadership team: help shape company-wide GTM alignment and narrative
  • Build scalable systems: establish repeatable frameworks for launches, insights, and cross-functional GTM plays

  • Have experience marketing cybersecurity products to CISOs and technical stakeholders
  • Are a product marketing expert—you’ve owned messaging, packaging, launches, and enablement
  • Thrive in Series A/B environments, where ambiguity is high and speed matters
  • Can strategize and execute—you’re equally at home building decks or shaping company narrative
  • Know how to partner with Sales and Product to create alignment and drive growth
  • Bring a data-driven, analytical mindset and love tracking the impact of your work
  • Have managed a team, but still enjoy getting your hands dirty
  • Lead with low ego, high trust, and a collaborative, scrappy approach

  • Messaging and positioning are clear, consistent, and effective
  • Product marketing is a strategic strength, embedded across GTM
  • Website is refreshed and aligned with updated brand and narrative
  • Demand gen is showing early traction, with measurable signs of growth
  • Sales team is enabled and supported with strong collateral and positioning
