Job description

WTWH Media is seeking Vice President, Marketing, to join our dynamic team. The VP, Marketing is responsible for driving our marketing, branding, design, data and growth initiatives for all WTWH media and event brands / products. The role will be hands-on and responsible for leading the marketing teams that oversee and manage the marketing execution and technology platform.

This individual will develop and execute a comprehensive, cross-channel marketing strategy in conjunction with key business stakeholders, and WTWH’s overarching business goals, plans and targets. Includes oversight and execution of various marketing initiatives to support the business such as digital advertising, custom content, events, lead gen, user / attendee acquisition and membership. This role works closely with all departments and acts as a primary business point of contact for a variety of internal and external partners that support the technology and marketing stack of the business and will demonstrate a deep commitment and understanding of editorial storytelling.

This individual will require strong expertise and a hands-on approach to data and analytics to help refine reporting across the business, identify opportunities and trends and drive marketing effectiveness. As the head of Marketing, this role will report directly to the CEO. Some travel may be required to WTWH events and other meetings, expected to be less than 20%.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Oversee and mentor Marketing team, fostering cross-functional collaboration and efficiency.
  • Work across teams to build camaraderie and to find consensus and buy-in on processes and approaches with multiple stakeholders.
  • Champion a high-performance culture that balances process discipline with the agility needed for a complex marketing strategy.
  • Assess team structures and recommend changes that optimize efficiency and performance while allowing for employee development and growth.

Strategic & Tactical Oversight

  • Define, drive and deliver both strategic and tactical direction of marketing in alignment with company growth goals, analyzing operational metrics and providing data-driven insights to the leadership team.
  • Standardize best practices while ensuring flexibility for both internal and external client needs.
  • Implement tools and processes that increase efficiency and scalability in marketing strategy and cross-team communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and oversee enterprise-level reporting for marketing KPIs for all team members and the delivery of those reports to senior management.

Product & Brand Marketing

  • Oversee execution of structured marketing campaigns to drive sales, registrations and product initiatives.
  • Work with media teams on delivering programs and driving measurable ROI through marketing campaigns using all distribution channels including email, social media, retargeting and on-site promotional activities.
  • Ensure portfolio marketing managers deliver programs and product marketing campaigns that are aligned with branding and marketing standards.
  • Bring brand and storytelling perspective to life across web / mobile, social media, live events, webinar series, products and editorial delivery.
  • Ensure all communications and materials stay true to each brand and have the highest quality for all brands, programs and projects within the portfolio.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing strategy, including scalable experience in digital-only and national scale media brand and / or creative agencies.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in marketing execution, with proven history of successfully driving marketing strategy, with measurable results.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate clarity, consistency and effective persuasion.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills and the ability to balance competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong drive to achieve results and continually improve on team performances.
  • Self-manage remote work life effectively, with ability for work travel.
  • Proficiency in project management and marketing software and operational systems.
