This is a remote role with 50% travel nationwide.

Reporting directly to the SVP of Sales for the Americas and APAC, you will drive our business success by generating pipeline opportunities, managing an Enterprise Sales team, and securing new business sales from existing and new customers. This role focuses on developing new sectors for GXO in the Industrial / Food & Beverage Vertical, offering a significant impact opportunity in a dynamic environment.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
  • Manage sales processes, approaches, and methodologies aligned with sales technology
  • Support business development teams to drive revenue growth
  • Review commercial opportunities pipeline at division level
  • Deliver customer-facing presentations to grow pipeline
  • Develop understanding of GXO’s business and key drivers
  • Manage sales performance and team performance
  • Conduct whitespace analysis to identify potential opportunities
  • Lead competitive intelligence and bid response strategies
  • Provide sales reports and insights to drive improvement
  • Communicate performance metrics and insights regularly
What you need to succeed at GXO

Minimum requirements include:

  • 20+ years of sales leadership experience in Industrial / Food & Beverage or Logistics markets
  • Proven executive leadership, change management, and team motivation skills
  • Proficiency in sales reporting, analytics, and project management tools, including Salesforce
  • Autonomy, integrity, and accountability
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • US-based, with 50% travel; experience in hybrid/remote roles
  • Strategic business development experience within large corporate frameworks
  • Experience in cross-selling, new business development, and closing opportunities
  • Excellent commercial, numerical, and account management skills
  • Track record of achieving multi-million dollar sales targets
