United Therapeutics (Nasdaq: UTHR) seeks to develop treatments for rare, deadly diseases. Founded in 1996, we have six FDA-approved therapies for conditions like PAH, PH-ILD, and neuroblastoma. Our pipeline aims to develop more therapies for PAH and pulmonary fibrosis.

Who you are

You are experienced in Trade, Biotech, and/or Specialty Pharmacy, with strong skills in account management, contract negotiation, and data analytics. You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and are eager to support major accounts while partnering with internal teams like Market Access, GP, Sales & Marketing, and Patient Relations.

The Trade Relations Manager will:
  • Support access to UTC's products by coordinating SPS and channel activities, analyzing procedures, and interacting with vendors.
  • Lead and coach UTC Field Sales Reps and Management regarding SPS and supply channels, managing requests and educational questions.
  • Participate in quarterly business reviews with SPS and other meetings, monitoring product programs and communicating updates.
  • Maintain and audit existing commercial programs, perform ad hoc analyses, and report insights to Trade leadership.
  • Analyze distributor data, monitor inventory trends, and approve purchase orders in line with contractual levels.
  • Assist in resolving issues affecting product pull-through and support the UTC Managed Care team.
  • Collaborate with UTC Departments and SPS on educational items, program deployment, and day-to-day management.
  • Manage approval processes for SPS educational materials and facilitate meetings for program rollouts.
  • Support internal departments to ensure product programs meet contractual obligations.
  • Assist Global Drug Safety in monitoring AE reporting related to SPS.
  • Support external vendors and contribute to strategic business decisions.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Account Management, Sales, or Biotech
  • Ability to build strategic relationships with Specialty Pharmacy and internal/external customers
  • Proficiency with PC or MAC and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
Preferred Qualifications
  • PAH experience
  • Exposure to SPS contracting

The salary ranges from $139,000 to $175,000 annually, plus incentives. Compensation is subject to change based on experience, location, and company policies.
