A large, high-volume gaming and hospitality organization is seeking an experienced finance executive to oversee property-level financial functions and select operational departments.
Reporting to the General Manager, with a secondary relationship to the Chief Financial Officer, this leader will guide financial planning and analysis, accounting, budgeting, revenue audit, purchasing, compliance, treasury-related activities, labor analytics, casino cashiering, count room operations, credit, and asset controls.
The position is responsible for the daily leadership of the Finance function while providing strategic financial guidance across the broader organization. The successful candidate will combine strong financial expertise with a comprehensive understanding of casino and hospitality operations.
Leadership Responsibilities
This executive will oversee senior leaders and managers responsible for areas such as:
- Accounting and finance

- Player services and casino cashiering
- Regulatory and financial compliance
- Credit and asset control
- Workforce and labor analytics
- Count room operations
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a high standard of guest service and support a positive, values-driven workplace culture.
- Lead the property’s budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and performance-reporting activities.
- Evaluate the financial impact of marketing initiatives, labor plans, capital investments, and other strategic programs.
- Direct long-term financial planning and assess business performance through regular profit-and-loss reporting.
- Coordinate preparation of the annual operating budget and related financial analyses.
- Partner with operational and marketing leaders to maximize the value of business intelligence, customer data, and performance metrics.
- Work with the CFO to manage financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Support banking activities and compliance with applicable financing or lending requirements.
- Oversee labor analysis and the use of workforce-management and scheduling systems to improve service levels and profitability.
- Perform and direct ad hoc analyses involving operational performance, economic conditions, and competitive developments.
- Review position requisitions and staffing requests to confirm appropriate business justification.
- Partner with the CFO and accounting leadership to maintain accurate and fairly presented financial statements.
- Maintain appropriate internal controls and service standards within player-services and cashiering functions.
- Provide oversight of regulatory compliance programs, including Title 31 and applicable anti-money-laundering requirements.
- Support financial services and cross-functional initiatives involving affiliated business entities when authorized.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial, employee, guest, and organizational information.
- Participate in corporate projects, strategic initiatives, and designated committees.
- Support and enforce applicable corporate-governance, privacy, and internal-control requirements.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

- Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical processes
- Familiarity with purchase-request review, approval workflows, and procurement controls
- Intermediate or better proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related discipline
- Candidates without a degree may be considered if they possess at least nine years of relevant management experience involving budgeting and financial analysis within a high-volume, complex casino or hotel environment
- At least five years of management experience in budgeting and financial analysis within a high-volume, complex casino or hotel operation
- Diversified finance or accounting experience with a strong understanding of the financial implications of operational decisions
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build a collaborative and supportive team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant designation and/or Master of Business Administration
- Primarily office-based position
- Extended periods of computer use may be required
