Our client is a community-based nonprofit organization serving Pennsylvania and Delaware, with over four decades of commitment to maternal and child health, early care, and education.

Position Summary

The Vice President of Finance (VP of Finance), reporting directly to the President and CEO, is a key member of the Executive Team with fiduciary and legal responsibility for the organization. This role safeguards the financial health and sustainability of the agency, overseeing financial and accounting operations, including budgeting and financial reporting.

The VP of Finance works closely with the Finance Committee, Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Early Head Start (EHS) Board. Responsibilities include strategic planning, fiscal management, and operational oversight. The role also supervises Finance and Accounting leaders and collaborates with the Leadership Team to ensure seamless internal and external operations.

Experience & Education

• Experience in financial statement preparation, complex multi-program budgets, and financial forecasting
• Expertise in non-profit financial management, fund accounting, government grant compliance, IRS Form 990, and GAAP financial statements

Salary & Benefits

• Salary up to $150,000 depending on experience
