Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior engineering leader to oversee software, data, AI/ML, and platform engineering. You will shape cloud-native architectures, drive modernization, and implement IaC standards to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes across teams.

You will translate business requirements into actionable technical programs, mentor top talent, and collaborate with executives to align engineering with strategic goals. This role drives delivery health and innovation.

Qualifications

8+ years in Data, Software, and Product Development with at least 4 years in senior engineering leadership.
Experience across AWS, GCP, and Azure with multi-cloud architecture.
Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
Strong ability to translate business requirements into engineering initiatives.

Own the full engineering organization spanning software, data, AI/ML, solutions architecture, product, design, QA, and insights operations

Requirements

8+ years of combined experience in Data, Software, and Product Development, with at least 4 years in senior engineering leadership
Multi-cloud expertise across AWS, GCP, and Azure
Infrastructure-as-Code proficiency with Terraform and/or AWS CDK
Business requirements translation experience
Advanced Snowflake experience including performance optimization, data sharing, and exposure to AI/ML services
Broad engineering fluency across data engineering, software engineering, AI/ML, UI/UX, and QA
Legacy modernization leadership experience
