Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned technology leader to define and execute an enterprise cloud platform strategy in New Jersey. The role focuses on integrating AI workload requirements into cloud architecture, capacity planning, and building scalable infrastructure for enterprise AI workloads.

You will govern technology standards, influence investment decisions across business lines, and mentor senior engineers and architects to deliver high-impact results.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive technology leadership with hands-on technical depth.
• Deep expertise across AWS, Azure, or GCP; multi-cloud and hybrid architecture; Kubernetes; and IaC frameworks.
• Proven experience managing and modernizing Linux-based on-premises infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with API Gateway and IAM platforms.
• Working knowledge of IDP design, CI/CD pipeline engineering, environment-as-a-service orchestration, and GitOps workflows.
• Working knowledge of AI platform infrastructure.
• Strong command of distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, API design (REST, GraphQL, gRPC), and service mesh technologies.
• Proven ability to manage large technology portfolios, budgets, and multi-year engineering programs at the executive level.
