Job summary

Daniel J. Edelman Holdings (DJEH) is seeking a Vice President, Creator and Talent Business Affairs to lead complex contracts for creators, influencers and celebrities.

You will structure, review and negotiate brand partnerships, endorsements and rights-driven transactions while advising stakeholders on risk, compliance and disclosure. The role demands a strong command of advertising law, extensive deal-making experience, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority matters with discretion

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in Business Affairs, advertising, entertainment, media, creator or influencer marketing, talent, intellectual property or a closely related transactional role.
• JD and experience practicing advertising, entertainment, media or intellectual property law strongly preferred but not required.
• Significant experience independently structuring and negotiating rights-driven transactions with sophisticated counterparties.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for creator, influencer, talent and celebrity transactions including brand partnerships, endorsements and rights-driven deals.
• Advise on commercial terms, rights, usage, term, territory, media and publicity rights while balancing risk and creative objectives.
• Develop, implement policies, templates and playbooks for creator and talent contracting and endorsement compliance.
