Job summary

EFCU Financial in Baton Rouge is seeking a Community Relations Manager to lead youth and young adult outreach and oversee the Foundation. You will expand the credit union's presence through schools, events, and partnerships, while guiding sponsorships and community programs.

In this role you’ll collaborate with Marketing to develop messaging, manage volunteer efforts, and report impact to the Foundation’s Board. A background in banking or community outreach is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of community relations experience; banking background preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships with students, educators, partners, and members.
• Knowledge of credit union operations and financial wellness.

Responsibilities

• Represent the credit union at community events, schools, and partnerships.
• Develop youth and young adult engagement programs and scholarships.
• Lead the EFCU Financial Foundation, including grants and reporting.
• Coordinate sponsorships with Marketing and prepare outreach materials.
• Provide feedback to Marketing and sponsor groups.
