Job summary

Credit Union of Texas is seeking a Community Engagement Officer to drive market growth through community involvement, strategic partnerships, and branch collaboration. You will lead outreach with local schools, chambers, and businesses, while ensuring sales and service goals are met in partnership with the Branch Manager.

The role requires 4–6 years in a financial setting, a Bachelor's degree, and proficiency with CRM tools and social media. Occasional travel to community events is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of related experience in financial institutions or equivalent.
• Experience in business development, outside sales, community engagement, or relationship management.
• Prior credit union or community banking experience preferred.
• CRM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a community involvement plan to grow CUTX membership, loans, and deposits.
• Engage with schools, civic organizations, chambers, and local businesses to expand reach.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to meet store sales and service goals.
• Coordinate community events and on-site engagements; represent CUTX professionally.
• Document activities in the CUTX CRM and monitor AI-assisted outreach with human oversight.
