Job summary

Barrington James is seeking a VP, Clinical Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership across a growing global clinical pipeline in oncology. This remote (East Coast preferred) senior role partners with executive leadership to drive the execution of late-stage programs.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in clinical research/operations, strong Phase II/III and global trial experience, and a proven track record leading teams and managing CROs within a growing biotech.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in clinical research/operations (biotech/pharma).
• Strong Phase II/III and global clinical trial experience.
• Previous VP, Senior Director, or equivalent leadership in Clinical Operations.
• Experience building teams in a growing biotech environment.
• Strong CRO/vendor management and cross-functional leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead global Clinical Operations strategy and execution across multiple programs.
• Oversee clinical trials from study start-up through completion.
• Build, develop and lead a high-performing Clinical Operations team.
• Provide oversight of CROs, vendors, sites and external partners.
• Partner with Clinical Development, Regulatory, CMC and other cross-functional teams.

I am currently partnered with a growing oncology biotech seeking a VP, Clinical Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership across a growing global clinical pipeline.

This is a key leadership hire with significant visibility across the organization, offering the opportunity to shape the Clinical Operations function, work closely with senior leadership, and drive the execution of late-stage oncology programs.

Key Responsibilities
