WSP USA is seeking a Vice President Civil Engineer to lead CCR Landfill and Solid Waste consulting in the Charlotte, NC area. The role focuses on directing project teams and client relationships across CCR/MSW initiatives, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and risk management.

Ideal candidates bring deep experience in civil/environmental engineering for waste facilities and a proven ability to drive successful projects, bids, and strategic growth within the Power market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with valid North Carolina PE registration.
• 12+ years of civil engineering design experience including CCR regulations.
• Familiar with the power market and clientele.
• Knowledge of CCR ponds and landfills and waste materials.
• Strong writing, interpersonal, and communication skills for broad audiences.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel; skilled in technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams delivering civil and environmental engineering services for waste management facilities, stormwater, and permitting.
• Provide technical direction and lead client-facing teams to grow civil design and environmental services in the Power market.
• Develop and execute client strategies for CCR/MSW projects and manage key client accounts.
