Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. in Charlotte, NC seeks a Solid Waste Engineering Project Manager to lead planning, permitting, design and site development of integrated solid waste facilities, managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You'll oversee projects from proposal through construction, coordinate with clients and regulators, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across practices to deliver integrated solutions for municipal, industrial, and energy

Qualifications

BS in Civil Engineering required.
PE licensure or ability to obtain PE licensure.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required.

Responsibilities

Manage solid waste and site development projects from proposal through construction, overseeing scope, schedule, and budget.
Lead planning, permitting, and design of integrated solid waste facilities.
Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure regulatory and client requirements are met.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams through all project phases.
Prepare proposals and support business development to expand client relationships.
Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technical staff.
Collaborate with other CEC practices to deliver integrated solutions.
