Mobility is one of Intellias' founding verticals and a core pillar of our growth strategy. We work with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and mobility technology companies across connected mobility, navigation and maps, embedded software, IVI/HMI, cloud platforms, ADAS, software-defined vehicles, and automotive AI.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Vice President, Business Development, Mobility to accelerate Intellias' growth across North America.

This is a senior individual contributor executive sales role with a significant revenue quota and a mandate to acquire strategic, net-new Automotive OEM relationships. The role is responsible for building a substantial pipeline, creating executive-level access, shaping complex opportunities, and delivering high-value, multi-year engagements.

The territory is focused on North America, with particular emphasis on the US, and includes both North American headquartered companies and global OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, with significant operations, technology organizations, or decision‑making presence in the region.

This role does not include direct people management. Success depends on executive presence, commercial judgment, strategic account development, and the ability to influence and coordinate cross‑functional pursuit teams without formal authority.

What You'll Do
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle for strategic, net-new OEM and Tier-1 accounts, from target identification and executive relationship development through opportunity creation, solution shaping, negotiation, and closure.
  • Carry and deliver against an ambitious North American Mobility revenue quota.
  • Build and convert a substantial pipeline of high-value opportunities, maintaining discipline around qualification, forecasting, deal progression, and commercial execution.
  • Develop focused account strategies for priority OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, identifying where Intellias can create differentiated value and establish long-term relationships.
  • Utilize existing trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, Chief Digital Officers, VPs of Engineering, Heads of Software, Product, Connected Mobility, Platforms, and Transformation.
  • Create executive‑level access, sponsorship, and alignment across target accounts, positioning Intellias as a strategic digital engineering partner.
  • Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles involving significant budgets, multiple business units, global decision‑makers, procurement, legal, and executive governance.
  • Shape and close large, multi‑year engagements spanning connected mobility, navigation and maps, embedded software, IVI/HMI, cloud platforms, ADAS, software‑defined vehicles, autonomous driving, and AI/ML.
  • Coordinate with executive leadership, presales, solution architects, delivery teams, industry experts, and commercial functions to develop differentiated propositions and compelling business cases.
  • Translate customer priorities, technology roadmaps, and market dynamics into actionable account strategies and new revenue opportunities.
  • Represent Intellias at customer meetings, executive forums, industry events, and strategic partner engagements.
  • Share market insight and customer feedback to strengthen Intellias' Mobility go‑to‑market approach in North America.
  • Contribute to account planning, sales operating cadence, opportunity reviews, and continuous improvement of enterprise sales practices.
Who We're Looking For

We are open to two complementary backgrounds:

Commercial executives

Senior sales, business development, client partner, or account leaders from technology, digital engineering, consulting, or systems integration companies with a proven record of originating and closing complex, high‑value business with automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.

Automotive industry executives

Senior technology, engineering, product, digital, platform, or transformation leaders from OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers with deep industry expertise, strong executive relationships, and the commercial orientation to create strategic business opportunities.

Regardless of background, you should be able to open and influence executive relationships, identify meaningful business problems, shape complex opportunities, build internal alignment, and convert strategic relationships into significant revenue.

What You'll Bring
  • 20+ years of relevant experience in automotive technology, digital engineering, consulting, systems integration, enterprise sales, business development, or related fields.
  • A demonstrated record of achieving or exceeding significant sales targets, preferable through net‑new logo acquisition and large, multi‑year enterprise engagements.
  • A strong, current network across automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers in North America and/or global organizations with significant US operations.
  • Established relationships with C‑suite and senior technology and business stakeholders, with the credibility to engage on business strategy, technology investment, operating models, and transformation priorities.
  • Proven experience leading complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, substantial commercial value, and extended decision‑making processes.
  • Meaningful expertise across one or more areas of the automotive software ecosystem, such as connected mobility, navigation and maps, embedded software, IVI/HMI, cloud, ADAS, autonomous driving, software‑defined vehicles, or AI/ML.
  • Strong understanding of how large automotive organizations prioritize technology investments, allocate budgets, structure global programs, and make strategic purchasing decisions.
  • Experience selling digital engineering, technology services, consulting, managed services, or complex technology solutions to enterprise customers.
  • Executive presence, commercial judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence customer and internal stakeholders without relying on formal authority.
  • A builder's mindset, with the energy and resilience to create new relationships, develop a market, and deliver results in an evolving environment.
  • Willingness to travel for executive customer engagement, industry events, and strategic business development.
What Success Looks Like
  • Consistently achieving or exceeding an ambitious North American Mobility revenue quota.
  • Building a substantial, qualified pipeline of strategic net‑new opportunities with clear executive sponsorship and strong conversion potential.
  • Establishing Intellias as a recognized strategic digital engineering partner among leading OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
  • Creating and expanding executive relationships across a focused portfolio of priority accounts.
  • Closing significant initial engagements that develop into multi‑year, multi‑service relationships.
  • Providing actionable market and customer insights that strengthen Intellias' position in the North American Mobility ecosystem.
  • Building strong internal alignment around priority opportunities and coordinating effective pursuit teams across functions without direct people management.
Why Intellias

This is an opportunity to play an important role in Intellias' next stage of Mobility growth in North America.

You will have significant autonomy, high executive visibility, and access to technical and delivery experts as you build relationships with some of the world's most important OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.

You will work with leading specialists to address high‑impact challenges across software‑defined vehicles, connected mobility, embedded systems, cloud platforms, ADAS, and automotive AI.

If you combine deep automotive credibility, strong executive relationships, commercial judgment, and a proven ability to create significant new business, this is an opportunity to build strategic customer relationships and contribute directly to Intellias' growth at an executive level.
