Unum seeks a strategic leader to drive business development across direct and SBI channels, aligning with market needs and early MVP opportunities. You will guide partnerships with brokers, events, and internal SBI teams to generate demand and shape the product strategy.

You will manage a team, drive sales processes, and translate market feedback into actions for product and marketing. Strong SaaS and employer benefits experience are desired.

Qualifications

• Experience interfacing with employers, brokers, and industry conferences to drive dialogue.
• Ability to distill technical information to drive valuable outcomes.
• Strong leadership and collaboration across teams in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development strategy focusing on Unum channels and brokers.
• Coordinate with SBI leaders to set yearly goals and targets.
• Define end-to-end sales and sales enablement for SBI products, ensuring scalability.
• Guide a team of Business Development Executives to achieve MVP adoption and growth.
• Develop partnerships with brokers and consultants to inform marketing strategy.
