Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Asset Managers overseeing assets end-to-end.
• Lead leasing process including market and comparative analyses and negotiations.
• Oversee transaction analysis and due diligence for acquisitions and onboarding properties.
• Review and approve appraisals, budgets, cash flows, and capex planning.
• Develop analytical tools to monitor portfolio performance and processes.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly investor reporting.

Job Summary

The Faropoint Investments Team is expanding, and we are looking for an ambitious and motivated VP of Asset Management to join our Hoboken office. The ideal candidate would have 8-12 years of Asset Management experience, looking to expand their knowledge and experience to Real Estate Private Equity.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Asset Managers, overseeing industrial assets end-to-end from a leasing/property/asset management perspective.
• Lead the leasing process, including market analysis, comparative analysis, and negotiations.
• Oversee and lead workflows conducting transaction analysis and due diligence for new acquisitions and onboarding new properties.
• Review and approve all aspects of industrial real estate appraisals and operational budgets, including rental rates, discounted cash flows, and capital work.
• Develop analytical tools to allow leadership to better understand the state of the portfolio and streamline work processes.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting to investors.

Required Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will have 8 - 12 years of experience as an Asset Manager in the industrial/commercial real estate industry.
• Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to give and take direction and to interface with decision makers in a professional manner while maintaining confidentiality.
• High learning agility with an ability to manage multiple priorities while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Self-starter who independently drives projects to completion by self-sourcing information and leveraging all available resources.
• Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time
• Knowledge of finance concepts including an understanding of financial statements.
• Personal and professional integrity of the highest order required.

Compensation

This position offers a base salary in the $175,000-$235,000 range, plus discretionary bonus, competitive healthcare benefits, unlimited PTO, and a 401k match.
