Job summary

BBVA USA is expanding its US AI & Data team in New York to accelerate business transformation through data-driven and AI-enabled solutions. The role leads design, development and industrialization of data science products, ensuring governance, explainability, and measurable business impact across client engagement, risk and operations.

You will work with senior stakeholders to frame problems, deploy models, and monitor performance while partnering with risk, compliance and operations to deliver

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data science, analytics or ML engineering.
• End-to-end delivery from problem definition to production deployment and value tracking.
• Strong Python/SQL, statistics, ML, experimentation and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Frame high-value business problems and define data science approaches with stakeholders.
• Build, validate and deploy predictive, optimization and ML models; explore Generative AI use cases where appropriate.
• Translate data insights into clear recommendations and decision-ready narratives for senior stakeholders.
• Partner with Data for AI, AI Tech, Risk and Compliance to deliver scalable solutions.
• Establish model documentation, monitoring and governance for responsible AI.
• Support portfolio prioritization by assessing feasibility, data readiness and value potential; drive uptake via training.
