Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is hiring for an AI/ML Lead Engineer Vice President to lead hands-on development of high-impact AI solutions. The role focuses on data analysis, building cutting-edge ML/LLM models, and deploying them to production on AWS or Azure for the Asset and Wealth Management AI Engineering team.

You will partner with global teams, drive architecture, scalability, and secure design, and mentor others in the adoption of AI capabilities across the firm.

Qualifications

• MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Machine Learning required with minimum 7 years of development experience and at least 4 years in AI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic or other) including full workflow tools such as tracing, evaluations, and guardrails.
• Strong programming skills in Python with deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, ML, data mining, information retrieval and statistics.
• Demonstrated ability to design end-to-end solutions with modern architecture, scalability and security.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across firmwide AI/ML teams, business and product partners to drive alignment and adoption of common AI capabilities.
• Hands-on architecture and implementation of lighthouse ML and LLM-powered solutions.
• Design and deploy scalable data pipelines and model inference services.
• Experiment, develop, and productionize high-quality ML models, services, and platforms.
• Deploy solutions into public cloud infrastructure.
