Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a visionary Vice President, Acute Sales to lead the sales strategy for the Pharmaceutical Distribution Acute Care team. You will mobilize executives, influence enterprise initiatives, and build strong relationships with health systems, GPOs, and other stakeholders to drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and market share expansion.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or commiserate experience preferred.
  • 15 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare sales, with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical Distribution preferred.
  • Experience leading multi-regional teams and managing complex customer relationships.
  • Established relationships with acute care health systems within the assigned territory preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, financial management, and organizational change.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience with health systems, GPOs, and regulated environments.
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization and lead without authority when necessary.
  • Ability to travel 50% within the territory; work from home or corporate office when not traveling.

Position Summary

The Vice President, Acute Sales is responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy for the Pharmaceutical Distribution Acute sales team, driving revenue growth, market share expansion, and margin improvement. Anticipated salary range: $166,300 - $255,700 Bonus eligible: Yes
