Metric Geo is seeking a Vice President to provide executive leadership across its Heavy Civil and infrastructure construction operations in Newark, NJ, driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and financial performance.

This senior role demands a proven track record in leading large portfolios with full P&L accountability, along with strong executive presence and robust relationships with clients, public agencies, and industry partners.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own P&L performance including revenue, margin, and risk management.
• Develop and maintain senior-level client and partner relationships.
• Lead Directors and Project Executives to execute strategic plans.
• Drive business development and major pursuit strategies.
• Represent the organization in industry and public forums.

Key Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction and operational priorities across the business unit or region.
• Own P&L performance, including revenue growth, margin, and risk management.
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with clients, public agencies, and industry partners.
• Lead executive team members, including Directors and Project Executives.
• Drive business development and major pursuit strategy.
• Represent the organization in industry, client, and public forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; MBA a plus.
• 18+ years of progressive leadership experience in heavy civil or infrastructure construction.
• Demonstrated success leading a business unit with full P&L accountability.
• Strong executive presence and strategic relationship-building skills.
