Job summary

Metric Geo seeks a Vice President to provide executive leadership across its Heavy Civil and infrastructure construction operations in the United States. The role drives strategic growth, operational excellence, and financial performance as part of a dominant general contractor portfolio.

You will set strategy, own P&L, and build senior relationships with clients, agencies, and industry partners while leading Directors and Project Executives to win major pursuits and shape the company’s path

• 18+ years of progressive leadership experience in heavy civil or infrastructure construction.

Our client is seeking a Vice President to provide executive leadership across its Heavy Civil and infrastructure construction operations, driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction and operational priorities across the business unit or region.
• Own P&L performance, including revenue growth, margin, and risk management.
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with clients, public agencies, and industry partners.
• Lead executive team members, including Directors and Project Executives.
• Drive business development and major pursuit strategy.
• Represent the organization in industry, client, and public forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; MBA a plus.
• 18+ years of progressive leadership experience in heavy civil or infrastructure construction.
• Demonstrated success leading a business unit with full P&L accountability.
• Strong executive presence and strategic relationship-building skills.
