Job summary

United Launch Alliance, LLC. in Denver, CO seeks a vibro-acoustic engineer to define and verify high-frequency shock, vibration, and acoustic environments for launch vehicle and ground system components and payload.

You will perform system- and component-level analyses, support qualifications, and apply data from flight and ground tests using vibro-acoustic modeling methods and tools like MATLAB and NASTRAN. Bachelor’s degree required; strong teamwork and Linux familiarity expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Interest in Dynamic Environments (shock, acoustics, random vibration or signals analysis).
• Experience with MATLAB and Linux environments.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; course work in acoustics, vibration desirable.
• Familiarity with FEM and statistical energy analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform vibro-acoustic system- and component-level analyses and support qualifications.
• Develop and maintain data acquisition and analysis for environments measurement.
• Collaborate with Airborne Systems and Development projects to verify requirements.
