TSC in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to conduct vibration and thermal environmental tests on hardware and electronics assemblies.

You will operate test equipment, record data for traceability, and ensure adherence to ESD controls and DoD security requirements. The role requires a high school diploma with 2–4 years of technical experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and U.S. citizenship with potential DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years of technical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Understanding of torque requirements, tool usage, and calibration/verification practices.
• Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles and tools.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vibration and thermal environmental tests on hardware and electronics assemblies.
• Handle and process electronic assemblies using ESD controls to prevent FOD.
• Set up, operate, and maintain vibration and thermal test equipment.
• Record, monitor, and review test data for traceability and compliance.
• Support production and QA by documenting testing procedures and results.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to improve processes.
• Interpret complex wiring diagrams and engineering specifications.
• Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
