Job summary

Valcor Engineering Corporation is seeking a Vibration Test Technician to help set up, conduct, and document vibration testing for Valcor Space products. You will collaborate with Engineers to design fixturing, integrate new products, perform tests, and report results to verify quality in a fast-paced production lab.

The role involves operating vibration and pneumatic systems, interpreting technical docs, and maintaining test software and records.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret procedures, drawings, and process travelers.
• Proficient with computer software, including MS Office.
• Able to operate vibration and pneumatic test equipment safely and effectively.
• Committed to safety, quality, and procedure compliance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Operate Electrodynamic vibration systems and pneumatic test setups for valves and components.
• Read and interpret technical documentation and procedures.
• Ensure test software is correctly programmed to meet requirements.
• Document all tests and results in detail for traceability.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and functional vibration lab environment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, or report equipment needing maintenance or repair.
• Support Lean initiatives and participate in team improvement activities.
