Job summary

Senior plc is an international, market-leading engineering solutions provider with multiple aerospace test facilities. The role covers setting up static, motion, vibration, flow, and environmental tests, recording results, and reporting anomalies under supervision.

You will work with engineers to develop proper test methods and equipment setups. Ideal candidates have at least five years in an engineering test lab or aerospace environment, can read engineering drawings, and document tests

Qualifications

• Requires high school or vocational school graduate with courses in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in an engineering test lab, aerospace/manufacturing test environment, or similar technical environment.
• Experience setting up test fixtures and troubleshooting test setups/equipment.
• Experience performing mechanical testing such as pressure, burst, vibration, endurance/cyclic, load, or environmental testing.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, test procedures, and customer requirements.
• Ability to accurately document test setups, conditions, observations, and results.

Responsibilities

• Makes mechanical set‑ups and jigs with minimal supervision.
• Assists supervisors and engineers to achieve proper test methods and set‑up.
• Sets up and performs vibration tests, shock tests, flow tests, leak detection, cycle testing, and environmental testing.
• Reads schematics and engineering blueprints; uses shop mathematics and trigonometry.
• Maintains organized, safe work area and follows all safety and quality practices.
