Marotta Controls in Parsippany, NJ seeks an Engineering Technician I, Vibration Testing for the 2nd shift. You will set up, test, troubleshoot, and document vibration and thermal tests on multiple Marotta products, collaborating with engineering to design fixtures and implement new test programs.

You will work in a fast-paced lab environment, interfacing with A&T technicians and engineers, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand and work with technical drawings.
• Technical understanding of mechanical vibrations or heat transfer.
• Detail-oriented, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow procedures.
• US citizenship is required.

Responsabilidades

• Operate an Electrodynamic Vibration and/or Thermal system to test product performance and dynamic response.
• Program test software and ensure quality according to written requirements.
• Design and integrate new test fixtures or equipment.
• Read and interpret procedures, schematics and drawings, and use measuring devices to verify tooling and fixturing geometry.
• Document all testing performed and communicate results to the team.
• Support Lean initiatives and help improve testing efficiency and processes.
