Job summary

Rocketdyne in Mason, OH is seeking an Engineering Technician to support vibration testing on Space Electronics. You will operate and troubleshoot test equipment, record data, and generate reports for test programs.

Responsibilities include performing failure analysis, maintaining shakers and accelerometers, and coordinating with engineers and program managers to ensure test efficiency and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• 2 years or more experience working with Environmental test equipment, including electrodynamic shakers, accelerometers, and shock test equipment.
• 2 years or more experience in basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• 2 years or more experience in strong written and interpersonal skills, such as communicating well with customers, management, as well as other disciplines in the organization.
• 2 years or more experience in strong planning/organizational skills with ability to prioritize work assignments.
• 2 years or more experience in working individually and in a diverse and team-oriented environment.
• Must be a United States Citizen.

• Troubleshoot and maintain onsite environmental test equipment and related fixtures. This may include vibration/shock fixtures, electrodynamic shakers, mechanically induced pyro shock beams, and associated instrumentation.


• Interface with management, program managers, project engineers, mechanical engineers, test technicians, as well as internal and external customers.
