Zusammenfassung

VMC Group is seeking a Test Engineer to validate products, materials and systems for vibration isolation and seismic/noise control projects. You will coordinate in-house and partner testing, manage labs and customers, and secure contractors for testing.

The role requires hands-on testing, documentation, and strong communication with teams. Expect substantial travel and a laboratory environment with extended hours as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with laboratory machinery and data collection systems.
• Experience with elastomers, metals, manufacturing, or quality assurance.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent (4–6 years of progressive mechanical engineering work).

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and manage external shake testing of nonstructural building components.
• Plan for and handle all advance test preparation and manage the testing process.
• Prepare mechanical test fixtures and perform calibration tests.
• Write project test plans and issue comprehensive reports.
• Proactively communicate with internal teams and customers on project status.
