Job summary

MVP Sports Clubs, Inc. is seeking a Zumba Instructor to join the Group Exercise team in Rockford, MI. This part-time role focuses on delivering energetic, safe, and motivating classes for members of all fitness levels.

You will stay current with MOSSA and related programming, assist with class management, and help foster a positive member experience. MVP offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Current certifications through ACE, ACSM, AFAA or NSCA preferred.
• 200-hour RYT Yoga Instructor Certification acknowledged by Yoga Alliance.
• Minimum 1 year experience teaching various or specific group exercise programs preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Training required; in-house training if missing.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Physical ability to instruct classes incl. lifting up to 50 lbs and movement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging group exercise classes for all fitness levels.
• Arrive 10 minutes early, have music cued and programming prepared.
• Learn new releases and follow MOSSA guidelines; adjust as needed.
• Keep group exercise areas clean and safe; manage equipment.
• Communicate equipment needs and substitutions to Manager.
• Educate new members on technique, programming, options, and safety.
• Maintain member experience with energetic, supportive coaching.
