MVP Sports Clubs, Inc. in West Michigan is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor to deliver energetic classes and help members reach their fitness goals. You will join the Group Exercise Department and report to the Personal Training & Group Exercise Manager.

Responsibilities include arriving early, maintaining class records, learning new releases, ensuring safety, and participating in department events. Certifications (ACE/ACSM/AFAA/NSCA) and CPR/First Aid are required or provided on hire; strong

Qualifications

• Current certifications through ACE, ACSM, AFAA or NSCA.
• 1 year experience teaching group exercise preferred.
• CPR/First Aid training required or provided during in-house training.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging group exercise classes for all fitness levels.
• Maintain accurate class attendance records and meet attendance goals.
• Learn and implement MOSSA and other program formats; modify non-MOSSA as directed.
• Ensure group exercise areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Coordinate with Group Exercise Manager regarding equipment and substitutions.
• Educate new members on class execution, options, and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve member issues.
• Attend mandatory department trainings and maintain professional appearance.
