Job summary

MVP Sports Clubs in West Michigan is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor to lead engaging classes that help members reach their fitness goals. You will deliver energetic, inclusive sessions and support MOSSA program guidelines while collaborating with the Group Exercise Manager.

The role requires current certifications (ACE/ACSM/AFAA/NSCA) or 200-hour RYT, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication. Part-time schedule with benefits including staff club access and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current certifications (ACE/ACSM/AFAA/NSCA) or equivalent.
• 200-hour RYT Yoga Instructor Certification.
• CPR/First Aid Training.
• At least 1 year of group exercise teaching experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to demonstrate movements safely.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality group exercise classes on schedule.
• Arrive 10 minutes early, cue music, and start/end on time.
• Maintain accurate class attendance records and meet targets.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of group exercise areas.
• Coordinate with Group Exercise Manager on programming adjustments.
• Stay current with MOSSA formats and certifications.
