Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C license; Passenger Endorsement preferred.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests.
• Vaccination and PPE requirements may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in providing an engaging, creative social atmosphere with activities, excursions, and events.
• Develop, recruit, manage and schedule Community Volunteers.
• Communicate effectively and display tact with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following established safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles and participate in activities transportation.
• Encourage teamwork across departments to enhance residents' quality of life.
