Job summary

Brightview Senior Living in Annandale, VA is seeking a Vibrant Living Assistant to help residents lead active, engaging lives. You will plan and implement spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural and emotional programs and support daily events.

You’ll promote events, assist with setup and breakdown, may drive company vehicle, and help showcase activities through social media and newsletters. A energetic, creative personality and a valid driver's license are valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to connect with residents and learn about them.
• Willingness to lead and participate in artistic and recreational activities.
• Valid driver''s license and clean driving record.
• Positive attitude and high energy.

Responsibilities

• Get to know the residents of Brightview so that you can help with the planning and implementation of spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural and emotional programming that will make residents feel engaged and fulfilled.
• Promote and communicate upcoming community events and activities.
• Participate in activities. Residents love games, painting, singing, and music and we need someone to help organize and run these events!
• Utilize social media, email, and newsletters to showcase the fun things happening each day!
• Those 21 or over may occasionally drive the company vehicle to transport residents to and from events.
• Help set up and break down events and activities.
