Job summary

La Popular is seeking a Cocktail Server to deliver exceptional beverage service in a lively, guest-focused setting. You will take orders, suggest menu items, and ensure prompt delivery of drinks and food with attentive hospitality.

This non-exempt role reports to the General Manager and works in a high-volume dining room. Prior hospitality experience and a current safety/card certs are preferred; positions offer weekly pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum age 21 or legal drinking age.
Valid RBS/Alcohol Awareness Card.
Food Handler Safety Training Card.
Experience in high-volume restaurant, bar or hospitality preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, friendly service.
Take accurate beverage and food orders and provide menu recommendations.
Deliver drinks and food to tables and bar seats with proper timing.
Maintain knowledge of all menu and bar items to answer guest questions.
Follow alcohol service laws and company policies for responsible beverage service.
Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
Keep stations clean and stocked with glassware and condiments.
Assist with bussing and cleaning tables as needed.
