Qualifications

• Valid VI Teacher license
• Active MA DOE license
• Successful completion of MTELs
• Experience working with visually impaired students preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of students with visual impairments
• Adapt general education curricula and materials for accessibility
• Participate in creation and execution of IEPs
• Assess student progress and adjust interventions
• Collaborate with other educators, families, and related service providers
• Offer consultative support and professional development for school staff
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding services for students with disabilities
