Job summary

Menasha Packaging is seeking an experienced machine operator to maintain and run vertical form fill seal (VFFS) equipment in a fast-paced production area. Positions available on 1st and Weekend shifts with defined hours and safety standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and at least 3 years in manufacturing and machine operation, plus blue-collar troubleshooting knowledge. The company offers competitive pay, benefits, and an incentive plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma desired.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting ability.
• At least 3 years in manufacturing position.
• At least 3 years in a machine operator position.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup checks at the beginning of each shift.
• Perform machine setup before each shift and test procedures to ensure optimal operation, logging results by hour against targets.
• Ensure pallets, bags, containers are available and accessible.
• Perform frontline preventive maintenance.
• Monitor and calibrate VFFS machines and equipment.
• Ensure packaging quality adheres to work instructions.
