Eclipse Specialty & Emergency Pet Care in Whippany, NJ, is seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to design, implement, and oversee training programs for all hospital staff.

You will partner with the Nursing Manager and Employee Experience Manager to identify training needs, source and update materials, deliver sessions on clinical procedures, customer service, and safety, and ensure records and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science, Education, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in medical or veterinary healthcare with at least 2 years in training or supervisory role.
• Certification in training and development is a plus.
• Experience developing and delivering training programs for hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development.
• Assess training needs via surveys, interviews, and consultations with department heads.
• Source and update training materials, manuals, and resources.
• Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars on clinical procedures, customer service, and safety.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness; adjust as needed.
• Maintain training records and ensure regulatory compliance.
