Job summary

Mars UK is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to lead territory sales for Royal Canin in the Salem, Oregon area. The role requires building relationships with veterinary clinics, delivering data-driven opportunities, and executing the BU strategy across the territory.

You will travel 20-30%+ with occasional weekends, develop and execute a territory plan, and partner with cross-functional teams to maximize clinic engagement and sales performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs and grow clinics in the geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations addressing the Veterinary staff’s needs.
• Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholder groups across the BU & organization.
• Build partnerships and collaborate with others to meet shared objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Work in a cross-functional team-based environment in fluid, complex environments.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and adjust strategies based on needs.
• Manage an expense and sales budget; complete CRM call reports and expense reports.
