Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to drive sales in the Salem, OR territory. This field-based role requires living within the territory and delivering on clinic opportunities through data-driven strategies.

You will develop and execute territory plans, build relationships with clinic decision-makers, and present compelling solutions to veterinary teams. Expect travel and cross-functional collaboration to meet BU objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, approx. 20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customers and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations addressing Veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts, Scientific Affairs).
• Build partnerships to meet shared objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary BU sales strategy.
• Work in a cross-functional, fluid environment.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies as needed.
